This is the project I had to make to get through the second round of school applications for the Film Academie. The theme was “Disruption of Balance”. Having just watched a couple westerns I came up with a scene where a gecko was resting on a cactus and gets scared of by a snake. I had two weeks to learn a 3D program, to model everything and rig the gecko, the snake, the camera and render everything on time for the deadline. Which I did managed, but just barely. My soon to be teachers loved it and saw the time and energy that went into the short and saw my eagerness to learn through it.
